Getting started

From adding the bot to the first ticket in your server, in a few minutes. Everything here is done on the website; the tickets themselves happen in Discord.

    Add TicketCrew to your server

    You need Manage Server in that server. Discord lists every permission TicketCrew asks for before you confirm, and each one is explained under Permissions.

    Open the dashboard and choose the server

    Sign in with Discord. The dashboard lists every server where you have Manage Server, and says which ones already have TicketCrew.

    Build a panel

    A panel is the message members press to open a ticket. Write the message, add a button for each kind of ticket and, if you like, the Discord category each one opens in. The preview beside the form shows exactly what members will see.

    Choose who is let in

    Pick the staff roles that see and answer each kind of ticket. Recruiters can see applications without seeing reports, and the other way round.

    Publish

    The panel appears in the channel you chose. Open a ticket yourself to see what members get. Editing a published panel later updates the message in place, so links to it keep working.

If something fails

Missing a permission

Run /ticketcrew permissions in the channel where it went wrong. It reports which Discord permission TicketCrew is missing there. The dashboard says the same under Settings, with the reason each permission is needed.
